Leven Rambin Chart

Does the actress find the role....or does the role find the actress?

That's what I wondered as I looked at the charts of Leven Rambin, who plays the austic "Lily" on "All My Children" and the chart of "Lily"...I kept looking back and forth, back and forth, not believing my eyes. In both charts, the Sun and the asteroid, Pallas Athene, are conjunct.

I guess the place to begin is to tell you about Pallas Athene, the asteroid goddess. Asteroids were discovered about 20 years ago or so, and were named for the most part after the Roman/Greek goddesses.....interestingly, about that time, Jean Shinoda Bolen wrote a book, "Goddesses in Every Woman". In it, she ascribed the qualities of the goddeses to the personalities in women. Pallas Athene, or Athena, was described as the competitor of men. While the goddess Diana liked to be a buddy with the guys; Athena would rather challenge them and beat them at their own game.

Pallas Athene was born out of the head of her father, Zeus (Jupiter)....created out of his mind. She did not have a mother, as the story goes.....i.e., she was not in touch with her emotions. She was a mental person, rather than a feeler who equated more with her father. Pallas was a virgin goddess and sexually chaste, who tended to androgenous leanings. She is the goddess of war and victory. She was a master tactician and strategist. She looked to peacefully settle disputes - she was an advocate of merciful justice. Pallas was always pictured clad in armour, unlike the other goddesses, thus protecting herself from feeling and pain. Pallas exhibits herself quite strongly in the role of "Lily". Let's see how the actress who plays "Lily" represents the energy.

Leven Alice Rambin was born on May 17, 1990 in Houston Texas. She has a Taurus Sun at 26 degrees, an Aquarius moon at 22 degrees approximately (because we don't have her time of birth) , with Pallas conjunctinig the sun at 29 degrees of Taurus.I would think the Aquarius moon would add more strength to the mental acuity, and yet Leven also has a grand trine in water (Jupiter, Chiron and Cerees in Cancer, Pluto and Juno in Scorpio, and Mars in Pisces) so she has a more balanced chart and just needs to integrate the rational with the emotional and not jump back and forth between them.

Leven has a quick, facile mind, with Mercury in Taurus trining Uranus in Capricorn, but because they are earth signs, it makes her very practical and she doesn't make moves without thinking it out thoroughly.

She was born in the Year of the Horse and the month of the Ox. While the autistic "Lily" may find it hard to allow people to touch her , Leven, in her heart of hearts longs to find the right person and be in love. The Ox wants to be comfortable and be content, but it still keeps an eye out on the horizon, wondering what it would be like to shake up that contentment a bit and find something more stimulating.

Currently, Uranus and Neptune (the planets of tv and movies) are going thru Leven's 10th solar house; the house of career, which is why she's on a soap at such a young age. Jupiter is in her 5th house of love affairs, so maybe she'll meet someone soon, if she hasn't already.

CharactersAlive

Lily Montgomery

As mentioned in the Jeff Branson horoscope, some years ago I devised a way to erect a chart of a character on any given show. Because of Lily's autism, it peaked my interest to see what Lily's chart would reveal. On the positive side, Pallas gives high mental acuity...in a woman it gives her a mind which 'thinks like a man'....she is formidable in battle; a master tactician with the ability to see the whole picture and yet with the seeming dichotomy of being a holistic healer and a lover of hand crafts (which led me to look back on Martha Stewart's chart, as I could never see her in a domestic role....she has Pallas in the first house!...and she has used that ability to climb the corporate ladder and challenge any man in her way...wow!)

On the negative side, Pallas in the chart can show mental retardation, difficulty in learning, hand-eye-coordination problems, dyslexia, and being color blind. It also indicates a lack of tact and diplomacy (there's Martha again!). It indicates a person who can see mathematicaally and visualize whole patterns. Pallas in the chart shows where we can be a genius all the way down to a mongoloid. There's no reference to autism in the original texts, but one can see that an autistic person is a highly intelligent being who lives on the left side of her brain - highly mental, logical, and linear, without much connection to the right, emotional brain and steels herself in armour to protect her from experiencing love....sort of like Mr Spock of "Star Trek" fame - being unfamiliar with anything outside the objective mind.

Obviously, having the Sun and Pallas conjunct does not indicate autism in itself. In Lily's case, the sun and moon combine in Gemini, which would add another masculine intellect sign to the fray. In Lily's chart, Pluto in Sag opposes the Sun/Pallas, combo, the moon inconjuncts it, Uranus trines it...we'd probably need the rising time to see the reason why Lily's chart would indicate autism.

Lily has Saturn and Chiron conjunct in Aries, which would indicate father wounding. Pallas Athene identified with her father, but because they were so bound together, there was a suggestion of incestuous undertones. On "All My Children", Jackson Montgomery is her adopted father, but it would be a true soap twist to find out what Lily's relationship with her biological father was.

Pallas energy must be paramount right now, as all these references have come up at the same time...actually, as I look at today's chart, Pluto is squaring Pallas in the sky now (5/25/05), bringing it to the forefront. As I did these charts and saw the correlation of Pallas to autism, then I looked in my own chart and found Pallas in the 12th but near the 1st and realized I have a lot more Pallas in me than not....then I did Jane Fonda's chart for "Monster in Law" and found she has sun conjunct Pallas, too. Just as I was immersed in all this, the front page article in the Contra Costa Times had an article about an autistic child who was getting chelation therapy to remove the metal from his body, and he has been doing better all the time.

Actually, chelation therapy is not something new and radical; it is a holistic approach, known for some time, but seems to be new in treating autism. Let me make a disclaimer here, and say we do not advocate nor unadvocate (is that a word?) this treaatment; we're just reporting the information.

Sandy Kleffman writes in the Contra Costa Times on May 25, 2005, that there is a new, controversial treament, known as chelation therapy, which strips the body of metals such as mercury. The child in question has made dramatic progress in the 7 months of treatments. The parents, J.B. Handley, and his wife Lisa, parents of the child, have formed an international organization called Generation Rescue to encourage other parents to consider the treatment. They maintain autism is caused my mercury poisoning in genetically susceptible children who bodies have a weakened ability to protect themselves from toxic metals. Information on biomedical treatment of autistic children is at www.generationrescue.org.

It probably should be mentioned that most medical experts denounce such claims and argue that it gives parents false hope.

But, it's interestesting that Pallas Athene's energy may be the basis of this imbalance, and it could be her penchance for holistic healiing that could find the answer.

The final coincidence is on the day that Leven debuted in the role of "Lily", the Sun and Pallas were once again conjunct in the sky in Gemini....showing the pattern in whole terms.
