I initially thought it was folly for GH to have Tamara Braun ("ex-Carly") leave the show on Friday, April 15th, and have a new actress debut the next Monday, April 18th (Tamara's birthday).....but they knew what they were doing. Jennifer Bransford has seamlessly fit into the role, and makes "Carly" more endearing....if Carly can be termed endearing.....she's wearing her heart more on her sleeve as her motivation for her actions.

As I mentioned on Jackie Zeman's page, I initially thought it wasn't in Jackie's interest for Jennifer to get the role, because she's a Sag, and Jackie's a Pisces....two entirely different energies. But, Pisces is in the 4th house of a Sag's chart; that's the natural placement for the mother....so it's natural for Jackie to be Carly's mom now, and it shows in the latest episodes.

Jennifer was born on December 2nd in Washington, D.C., we don't have the year but the IMDB says she graduated from highschool in 1986, so we'll surmise that she was born in 1968, but it's speculation. The date does work well with her "Characters Alive" chart that I'll show you later.

If this year is correct, Jennifer is a Sag with a Taurus moon. Her planets are grouped in Virgo/Libra, Scorpio/Sag, and Aries/Taurus. Actually, she has one big Master YOD; Pluto being joined by Jupiter, Uranus, south node and Mars, while Neptune is joined with Pallas, Juno, Mercury and Ceres. The two create the Yod which goes down into Taurus where her moon is....so it shows that her mother is a dominant player in her life. Everything funnels down to the moon; the apex of the Yod is the 'answer'...This indicates her mother is the answer, she just has to figure out how.

Because Pluto is the "last planet" in essence, it has spent her life going over one planet after another. I would suspect that she hasn't had an easy life. Pluto is the planet of transformation and evolution, and gives us our most intense lessons. Her childhood showed Pluto going over Jupiter, Uranus, south node and Mars - and even tho Jupiter conjunct Uranus is a sign of sudden good fortune, Pluto may have imploded it.....or she came into some good luck early; maybe too early to appreciate it.

Then she had a break as Pluto moved thru the remainder of Libra and moved into Scorpio in the late 80's-early 90's, with a blip of Pluto opposing the moon as it got to the trigger point of the Yod (half way between itself and Neptune)....mother, female energy, was paramount in her life at that point. Then, Pluto went over late Scorpio and into Sag and she had another intense growing period. Pluto is the planet of 'what doesn't kill you makes you strong" and now she's strong and coming into her own in her career....just as Pluto moves to a square, 90 degrees away from itself; the key time in one's life when one is tested and hopefully becomes empowered. It may not be easy working on GH and being on screen almost every day, and dealing with new, dynamic, intense, powerful energies.....hold on Jennifer; it's almost complete....as I told my son, born in 1967, "you can run but you can't hide" - i.e., one can decide it's too much and opt to leave, thinking it'll be easier somewhere else. But, Pluto is squaring Pluto, and it will do so wherever one goes; so you might as well stay where you are and learn the lessons there.

Currently, 2005, Jupiter is in Libra, going over her Virgo/Libra block of planets; Jupiter coming back to it's natal place and then meeting up with Uranus is undoubtedly the energy that brought her this new role and success.

9/12/05 - It's been reported that Jennifer is being replaced on GH. I was stunned. I thought she was doing a tremendous job and "Carly's" recent "breakdown" was Emmy quality. But, she is in her Pluto square, where Pluto moves 90 degrees from where it started at birth, and it's a tiime of meeting all your demons in the form of different people playing the roles, and finding your empowerment. I don't know what the background issues may have been, but she certainly was a shining light on GH......I just think it must be such an arduous task to be "Carly" or "Sonny" and be on the show 99% of the time. At least she'll have time for her family again.

I did charts for 1968 and 1969 for Jennifer to create the Carly chart, and I think this one looks more accurate. The major planets are in relatively the same place, so one could look at the underlying essence of Carly from both charts. Here we have the Sun in Aquarius and the moon in Cancer. On a recent episode a character said Carly 'thrives on chaos'; and that would be an Aquarian thing. I have Aquarius rising, and I don't think I thrive on chaos, but I do get bored fairly easily. Then, contrast that need to be in a whirlwind with the Cancerian's moon need to be a mother and to guard her children jealously. In this chart, the moon is the focal point , aspecting many planets, and would indicate her relationship with her mother, as well as her desire to put her kids first. Pluto shows up in the 9th house of Carly's chart, the house of the 2nd husband. And, a Plutonian would be an apt description of the brooding underworld boss, Sonny.

Lorenzo, then, is shown in her 11th house, where Uranus and Neptune reside, and both planets tend to go beyond the law, and not adhere to the rules and regs.

Saturn in the 4th house of mother and home and family, would normally say that "Bobbie" is strict with her; but could also say that it gave her the strength to give Carly up for adoption.

Carly has Mercury at 5 of Aquarius squaring Pluto at 9 of Scorpio. A Mercury/Pluto contact gives a manipulative form of speech. They will knowingly speak in such a way to get the person to do what they want. They seem to 'tell it like it is', but in reality they are keeping their machinations close to the vest, to make their moves when they want to.

Mars and Uranus together in Sag would say Carly has a quick temper, which like Aries, explodes quickly and then is forgotten....but she can also be triggered to act too quickly, and act to harshly and have to put out her fires later.
