Sometimes we moan and wail when a favorite actress leaves a show. Such was the case with Erin Torpey, who played "Jessica" on "One Life to Live" the longest. But fortunately for the show...and fortunately for us, Bree Williamson was available to take her place. It's been reported that she had auditioned for the show a few years earlier, but because she looked so much like Erin, she was told they couldn't have two people looking so much alike on the show.
But when Erin left to pursue other fields, Bree took over the role of "Jessica" seamlessly.....now it's almost as if she's the only "Jessica" we remember (Erin is in two new movies, "Dirty Deeds" and next year, "Fierce Friends"). She has come to 'own' the role and delivers great performances day after day....particularly now, that she's playing alter personalities.
Bree was born on December 28, 1981 in Toronto, Canada. She's a Capricorn with an Aquarius moon. She also has Venus in Aquarius, which lightens the seriousness of Capricorn, and makes her more outgoing.
Bree has an interesting chart, in that all the planets are on one side. In this solar chart, the planets are all on the left side, which would say she's a person who jumps in where angels fear to tread....in other words, she's more likely to act, and then put out the fires later. If we knew the time she was born, we could find out how this concentration of energy is dispersed by the hour of birth; whether it strengthens it, weakens it, or even neutralizes it.
Like those people born around 1947, the babies born in the early 80's have Saturn moving in on Pluto. That's a heavy duty position, which creates a strong person. There is someone in her life who was a strict disciplinarian or in some way controlled, or imploded her. (I know someone who was born in 1947 with the Saturn/Pluto conjunction, who has a child born in 1983 who has....a Saturn/Pluto conjunction.....now I wonder who plays out that energy for the child?........hmmmmmmmmm!)
This is not an easy chart because Pluto trails and has been moving over the other planets as it moves thru the signs. Right now, it is conjuncting Neptune; which, on the positive side, can be the trigger for her career, as Neptune rules acting, and Pluto can give her the power.
Currently, Pluto is hiding out in her 12th house, affecting events behind the scenes. Around 2009 it will move into her solar first house and conjunct her sun. It'll come out of hiding and she can feel her power. Uranus is in her second house of money, conjuncting Venus, which is good for money....it's and up or down aspect. It wouldn't be wise to gamble with investments at this time. This is good for money, but one must not be too cavalier at the same time. Venus is good, but when Uranus moves on, Uranus is change....period....up or down; if you have it you might lose it - if you don't have it you could gain it. Jupiter makes its annual return to the natal position in Scorpio; lucky breaks are possible.
CHINESE ASTROLOGY: Bree was born in the Year of the Rooster and the month of the Rooster. While she can be strong with the Saturn/Pluto connection and the planets on the left side, the Rooster provides an element of fear. It's peace she's seeking. If she's like other Roosters, she probably reads the newspaper and watches the news, just so she knows what's going on around her at all times. The Rooster is the animal that correlates to the kidney meridian in Chinese acupuncture, and the kidneys resonate to the duality of fear vs. peace. The more peaceful we are, the healthier our kidneys are.
![]() ![]() In fact, it is the trigger of the Master Yod (Neptune sextiling Pluto since 1941 which creates a key evolutional transcendence) being in Sag, at the midpoint between them. It shoots it's energy down to the 5th house of uncommitted relationships and children. Once again, Pallas is a focal point of a chart (see Levin Rambin). Pallas Athene in mythology, was born of Zeus' head. She has a lot of masculine, communication energy, but is out of touch with her emotions (not being born of a mother=emotions). Pallas, positively aspected, provides genius; negatively aspected, it can cause autism, retardation, etc........so, who's to say that it doesn't have something to do with DID? It's a mental experience, and, as we're seeing more and more, Pallas has a lot to do with the mind, from one extreme to the other. Altho I really like Bree, I have real issues with this storyline. It would seem to me that there is nothing in "Jessica's' childhood that could have created this alter. I really get irked when writers completely convolute a character's history just for a storyline.....I don't see what they can come up with (as I write this on 10/10/05) that's going to seem credible....yet, as I look at this chart, and see this aspect, I'm more interested now, in seeing what they do come up with. In recent years we found that "somehow" Mitch Lawrence impregnated Vicki, and she had twins. Natalie is Clint's child, and Jessica is Mitch Lawrence's.....now there's a convoluted storyline! Here we have Pluto in the 10th house of father - which in one of its forms can be an underworld character (can also mean a powerful figure). Now, where would "Clint" be in her chart? Would he show up in her 8th because Vicki was married to him before, and the key word here is 'before', this happened, or in the 12th, after Mitch? (In a chart, the father is traditionally shown in the 10th house and a stepfather - next in line - is the 12th)...Clint then, is her stepfather, but married to Vicki before Mitch came into the picture! Ah, how soaps can mix up things!. Well, now I'm intrigued. Just what are they going to come up with to justify Jessica creating "Tess" to protect her? It obviously has roots in her childhood from what they've shown so far. Did Mitch come back into her life at that time? After all, it was Vicki's father who caused her break.
