7/14/06 - Someone on General Hospital has 'discovered' Derk Cheetwood. The patient actor, who has played "Max" since 2001.....standing guard at Sonny's penthouse...standing guard at Sonny's house....standing guard to protect Carly and the kids.....standing guard to protect Sonny....yet never having very many lines..... suddenly, a shift has occurred in the energy as "someone" recently has found a jewel of an actor in Derk Cheetwood - a person who can play comedy and drama with equal professionalism. Is it a new writer who saw the potential?....or was it in Derk's chart to come into the spotlight after years in the background....or was it in Max's chart????

Derk Cheetwood was born on October 8, 1973 in Bowling Green, Ohio. He's the cousin of "Nikolas" - Tyler Christopher. He was born with the Sun in Libra and the Moon in Pisces; a good placement for an actor. He also has the Sun conjunct Uranus, which would give him an Aquarian quality, and even tho he's a Libra with a deprecating Pisces Moon, he's probably a rebel at heart, and since Uranus rules tv, he's right in his element. Venus is at the end of Scorpio, conjuncting Neptune in Sag, in the solar 2nd house. Venus would give protection for money, and he'd always have what he needs.....yet Neptune doesn't care that much about money, so he may be generous with what he has...whatever he has. Jupiter is in the 4th house of home and family, which indicates he has a foundation of positive energy to sustain him.

Pluto, the major player in the sky, is hiding in the solar 12th house, and early in life went over his Sun, Uranus, and Mercury, and continued on over Venus and Neptune til about 1987 when he was 14. So those were 'diamond making' years, where he was forged into the man he is today.

Chinese Astrology: Derk was born in the Year of the Ox and the Month of the Horse. The Ox does better when he throws off his yoke, and goes over the hill to see what life is like on the other side (i.e. leaves home) If everything is comfy at home, tho, it's hard to do.
