11/17/05 - Terrell Owen, the pro football player who can't seem to extract foot from mouth, has been suspended by the Philadelphia Eagles (I believe that's the correct term) for statements made. Terrell was born on December 7, 1973 in Alexander City, Alabama. Sagittarians are prone to 'say it like it is' anyway, and with Pluto moving thru the sign, it gives power and intensity to it. Terrell has his Sag Sun conjunct Pallas Athene, and currently, as Pluto went direct, it triggered Pallas once again. Pallas keeps popping up in readings lately. Pluto conjunct Pallas is the only major transit right now, and as I wrote in the soap section, Pallas' duality goes from genius to retardation and everything inbetween. It also makes a person very vocal and more straightforward than they need to be. Pluto is moving on and perhaps that will tone down Owen's self destructive behavior .....Sag correlates to the Monkey in the Chinese system, which is control, dogma and denial. As in any reading, one isn't just the sun sign, but made up of all the planets around the wheel. In the case of the Monkey, the foundation of the personality is the Boar energy, which can be self destructive.

11/3/05 - Rosa Parks left us this week; the black woman who refused to give a white man her seat on a bus 50 years ago. She was born in 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama. What would you guess is her birth sign?.....Aquarius, of course. She was born on February 4th. This is an Aquarian country, with the moon (populace) in Aquarius, and Uranus in the first house. It is this very energy that caused us to break from England and create a democracy here. Aquarians lead us into the future. They aren't afraid to stand up for what's right, and break the mold that creates a better world.

10/28/05 - Lewis "Scooter" Libby is expected to be indicted for the Valerie Plame outing today. He was born on August 22, 1950, in.....Connecticut, is all I can find so far. He's a late, late, Leo, so for all intent and purposes, his solar chart would be looked at from a Virgo perspective.....and with Pluto going thru Sag since 1996, it's Virgo's 4th house; the roots of the tree, the foundation of the chart. No one gets out of Pluto going thru the 4th unscathed in some way. It's interesting to note that if you create a composite chart of Libby and his boss, Dick Cheney, Neptune is going thru their 4th house by solar charts, which would make their foundation illusory and not solid...or that the relationship is based on chicanery. Bush and Cheney have the Sun conjunct Neptune in their composite chart....and while we think of Neptune as spiritual, artistic, magical; it still rules sabotage, deceit and subterfuge. ...so you can take it either way.

10/24/05 - Hurricanes are primarily wind and rain, air and water. In the skies right now, we have Uranus (which rules Aquarius, an air sign) in Pisces (a water sign) and Neptune (the ruler of Pisces and a water sign), in Aquarius (an air sign). Is this why we're having such turbulence? Add to that, Mars is in Taurus, and hanging around in the sign for some months due to a retrograde......and Taurus is in the Atlantic ocean part of the world (there is a body of work that goes by the longitudes, starting with 0 degrees of Aries in Greenwich, and going around the world, where Taurus is in the Atlantic, Gemini starts the United States, Cancer is in her heartland, Leo starts at the Pacific ocean, etc). So that, the anger and aggressiveness of Mars stirring up the ocean perhaps, plus the two outlying planets not doing well in their opposite element....could very well be the cause of this outlandish weather. Fortunately, Mars will go direct at the beginning December and leave Taurus in February, but Uranus and Neptune hang out in their opposite signs for quite a spell.

9/16/05 - Paris Hilton revealed that she really isn't that interested in sex. The sex kitten who's made a name for herself as a sexual being, was born on February 17, 1981 in New York City. Aquarians are not known for their sexual interest. Comedian George Burns was an Aquarian who reportedly had little interest in sex. It's an air sign which is more platonic. Some may like affairs but they don't want commitment....and sometimes they are just inhibited about sex. Aquarians correlate to the Dog in Chinese Astrology, and the Dog has intimacy issues. They can be dogs who look at sex from a cerebral place and a bodily function, or they can be inhibited and shy away and literally get 'cold feet'.....a circulatiion problem, and the Dog's energy is the icon for the Circulation sex meridian in the acupuncture system. The Dog's energy also correlates to the Pericardium, the muscle that protects the heart; so while there are sexual issues, primarily it's a reaction to keep one from getting their heart broken.

9/13/05 - It was reported that Jennifer Bransford, who has been playing "Carly" on "General Hospital" since April, is going to be replaced. She taped her last scenes in early September. Born in 1967 or 68, she's been going thru her Pluto square, and I had thought that, while it was a great break for her to get the role, it was still a time when oppressive forces were creating a situation that would test her and bring her into her empowerment. I heard she's married with a young child, so in a way, it's good for her, since being "Carly" is a 24/7 job. See her chart in the soap section click here.

7/5/05 - Sandra Day O'Conner was the first woman to be named to the U.S. Supreme Court, and as I mentioned about Danica Patrick being an Aries and being first; so too, is SDO'C....she was born on March 26, 1930 in El Paso, Texas. Aries blaze the trails for others to follow.

7/30/05 - Byrnes Dealt to Orioles - Mercury retrogrades and Eric Byrnes hardly has a chance to get used to Coors Field before he's dealt to Baltimore - but he'll be reuniting with Miguel Tejada. We see the effects of the 7/22 opposition of Saturn to Mercury. Hang in there, Byrnzie, fall will see positive changes.

7/14/05 - HEART AND SOUL OF A'S DEALT TO ROCKIES - Left fielder, Eric Byrnes was sent to Colorado today. Saturn returns aren't easy, but maybe this will be harder on the A's fans than it is for Byrnes. A terrific player and very popular with the fans; he's going to be missed. One hopes that this will go down in baseball history as the one huge mistake that genius GM Billy Beane ever made. It didn't seem Byrnzie was happy of late....and who is during a Saturn transit, so while we'll miss him with all our hearts, let's hope it's in his best interests, and he'll rub their noses in their decision ....I for one will be at SBC Park to welcome him back when the Rockies play the Giants.

6/22/05 - The Oakland A's baseball team is starting to come back this year, after dealing with numerous injuries to key players that kept them from being at the top of their game. One who seems to be in the doghouse, is left fielder, Eric Byrnes. He's a favorite with the fans, but has been relegated to platooning in the past month; saying he can't hit....right?....hand pitching. ....Well, none of the other players were hitting either, right or left, so why pick on Byrnzie???? Manager Ken Macha seems to be unhappy with him, and with some of the comments Byrnes shot back, Eric doesn't seem to be happy with him either. Well, what's going on? Eric was born on February 16, 1976, in Redwood City, California. He's an Aquarian so he's going to chafe at discipline as a matter of course. But, right now, as he approaches the age of 30, Saturn is in its Saturn return (6/26) where authority tests him, and by July 22, Saturn will oppose Mercury; more conditional communication. By September, Saturn squares Uranus, which would say those in authority are really getting tired of his Aquarian antics.......but....by November 16th, Uranus moves in to trine his natal Uranus (sudden moves in new directions) and on November 28th, Jupiter conjuncts Uranus which would really trigger that trine, bringing in an infusion of new, positive energy - so by the end of the year, all should be looking up for this charasmatic, terrific player. Should GM Billy Beane do the unthinkable and trade Byrnes....I'm sure he'll rue the day, as this quality player goes on to be one of the greatest players in the game. Beane was patient with Bobby Kielty and he's come around. Let's work on why Byrnes can't hit....right?...handed pitching and get it fixed. 6/13/05 - This afternoon, Michael Jackson was acquitted on all counts and was set free. I haven't been able to find Thomas Sneddon's - the district attorney - birthdate, but he is reported to have graduated from Notre Dame in 1963. So, assuming that he graduated at about 22, he was born in or around 1941. As written in my article about the baby boomers and this Neptune/Pluto phenomenon, this looks like a typical example of what the people born in the 40's are going thru........one seems to be in power (Pluto) but then Neptune moves in and just washes it all away. The court case I had against the hospital for my son's death happened just that way, and my attorney was born in the same age range. It would seem appropro, if needing to find an attorney that you seek someone not born in the early 40's at this stage!!...not that all will have this outcome, but it will be harder for them to come out on top for the next year or so. 8/24/06- Just received an email from a reader who gave me the birthdate of Sneddon as May 26, 1941. Fits right in with what I said above!! Thanks!

5/31/05 - After 30+ years, it was revealed today, that W. Mark Felt, second in command at the FBI during the Watergate scandal, was the infamous "Deep Throat". It had been reported that Woodward and Bernstein, the journalists who broke the story that eventually toppled Richard Nixon's presidency, would not reveal Deep Throat's identity until his death. It has been reported that Felt kept the secret til a few years ago, and now, in failing health, his family felt he should enjoy the accolades while he is alive. Felt was born August 17, 1913 in Twin falls, Idaho. Right now, Pluto is trining his Leo sun, which would bring him power and into the limelight...and Saturn is sitting on his Neptune, which might indicate that the clandestine affairs of Deep Throat are being exposed by Saturn....in the sense that the military regiment-like Saturn, would want to reveal what Neptune was trying to hide. I don't see anything particularly going on with Uranus unless it just went into his first house.

5/31/05 - Well, of course, Danica Patrick would be the first woman to drive in the Indy 500. She's an Aries....'nuf said...Arians love speed, and gravitate towards fast cars; and Arians need to be first. Just as Aries Geraldine Ferraro was the first woman to run for vice-president, when the time came for the first woman to drive in the Indy 500,it was quite apprpriate that it would be Danica who's had car racing in her blood all her life. She was born on March 25, 1982 in Belouit, Wisconsin.
