MASTER YOD

Aries Taurus Gemini Cancer Leo Virgo
Libra Scorpio Sagittarius Capricorn Aquarius Pisces

Yod and Saturn

Neptune sextile Pluto is the "Master YOD" in my opinion.. This has been, since 1941, the one YOD that continues to hold its place, 60 degrees apart, give or take. These are the two furthest planets out there, and take a long time to go around the chart. We know that a sextile creates a YOD, a "Finger of God", aspect, sending the energy down to a power point 150 degrees from each direction. It's the "answer", but we have to figure it out ourselves. In 2003 there was a new wrinkle.Saturn moved into this 'answer' space . In late 2003, Saturn made the YOD connection to the Neptune placement, and moved along to where it was at the apex of this master Yod in June and July, 2004 as it reached Pluto's placement. The Moon and Saturn, representing mother and father, create a wounding with the parents as Chiron is right there too (can also mean a clash between your right and left brains....masculine and feminine. Even tho Saturn has moved past the YOD point now, this point keeps moving slowly, and it affects dramatically the house that it is in.

How did this change things? Saturn, the authority, power figure called these two transcendental planets to take stock of what they're doing. They looked at him bemused, because Saturn is the last planet we can see with the naked eye. In the old days we said "that was it - there's nothing beyond that". Then we got telescopes and found Uranus, Neptune and Pluto - transcendental planets which take us out of our staid patterns and cause us to grow - whether we want to or not! Look at where the Neptune in Aquarius sextile Pluto in Sag is in your chart, and where Saturn in Cancer was when it went over the power point in June and July of 2004. This will give you a clue as to what it affected. There was a 'trigger' in January, 2004, when the Sun , Mercury and Chiron in Capricorn were in the middle of the sextile and triggered the energy to its opposite sign, Cancer. As mentioned, this all came to a peak in June and July 2004 when Saturn moved over the YOD point. Since these are slow moving planets, we felt the effects of this master YOD for the whole year. ...and it keeps on truckin'...we'll feel it for some time.

In 2005,the baby boomers had a 'sesquiquadrate" with Pluto sesqui'ing itself, and any Taurus planets they might have, and Neptune sesqui'ing itself, and in late 2005, Mars hung around and retrograded in Taurus, stirring things up and bringing them to the fore. See Baby Boomers.

For you Aries:

Neptune is in your 11th house of career money, dad's money, as well as the traditional goals, ambitions friends, and career dreams. It's also the house which shows you how you are loved by your spouse and second child. With Neptune here, it may be a gauzy time, albeit it tender and joyful; but we do have to come back to reality at some time. Neptune can be part of music, dance; sending you off on a cultural maze of symphony, opera, musicals, etc. It's always nice when Neptune is soft and transcendent yet letting the light through.

Pluto is in the 9th house of education and travel, which is in a good position for Aries, being in trine placement to the Aries sun., but this whole pattern is one of growth regardless. It's also religion, and the preparatory house for the career. Pluto's getting you ready for a grand entrance into the 10th of career.

The Yod point, Cancer, was in your 4th house of home and family, and possibly Mom. The 'answer' is located here. Mom's advice or how she has lived her life can have much meaning about these elements. Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Taurus:

Neptune is in your 10th house of career and dad. If your father's alive, he may turn to more spiritual pursuits....or he may hit the bottle. You could, too, if your job is too mundane and practical. You'll be drawn to the esoteric.

Pluto is in the 8th house of inheritance, alimony, mate's money, 'sex, death and taxes'. Pluto in the 8th says that mate has come into power and possibly money. If you go for a divorce, be prepared that s/he will pull out all the stops to keep what they have.Or, if you're happily married, you can enjoy the fruits of your mate's 'labor'.

The Yod point, Cancer, is in your 3rd house of short trips and errands, local politics, siblings and education. The 'answer" lies in communicating your feelings. You should keep your thoughts 'close to the vest' with those in power and control (they need to be on a need to know basis) but in your personal relationships, you need to open that Cancer Crab's reticence, and let people know what's on your mind. Don't be afraid; it can only make your relationships better; even if you have to endure the 'exposure' for awhile. Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Gemini:

Neptune is in your 9th house of travel, religion, and higher education. Your education comes from the right brain now. You need to see things in pictures, not 'logical' thought. Abstract thinking won't be your forte as much now. You may get upset that that sharp mental mind needs to look and process from a new perspective.

Pluto is in the 7th house of mate and the first one in particular, the 2nd child, Mom's Mom and Dad's dad......and the 3rd sibling after you should you have one. These people are going thru a great growth time, being in a pressure cooker, having to move one step at a time thru the land mines, to learn the lessons and get to the other side. Your marriage, or any one of the above personalities, can go thru a process of finding who has power in the relationship. Allow your family to come into their own power, without losing yours.

The Yod point, Cancer, is in your 2nd house of money, and talents, and value received. You may be able to use your money as a leverage in a power situation. Or these powerful people may try to get you to invest in one of their schemes. Check with others to make sure any 'deal' is profitable.....for you.Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Cancer:

Neptune is in your 8th house of mate's money, 2nd child's money, inheritance, alimony, "sex, death and taxes". You may feel impotent, or in other ways your need to transcend the mundane, makes the physical presence of another less desirable. You want to be loved on a higher level.

Pluto is in the 6th house of work , health, domesticated animals, employers and employees. Be careful, some times you can be 'hung out to dry'. ie you may be unhappy on the job and everyone else is too. They send you to ask for a raise; you do so, and the boss says "oh, yeah? How does everyone else feel? He goes to them, and they run for the hills, disavowing themselves from you. Don't be put in that position.

The Yod point, Cancer, was in your 1st house of Self. This heavy duty energy points right at you. You are the answer. It's up to you to handle all these energies, and discipline yourself to not accede to the universal entreaties. Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Leo:

Neptune is in your 7th house of partners, and the first mate in particular. However, a subsequent mate, with time and longevity can fall back into these patterns. So, too, if you didn't learn things from the first mate, you repeat them til you do. Your mate may be looking at life and finding it lacking. S/he is looking for something much more fulfilling and meaningful. If stuck in a go-nowhere job, s/he may turn to alcohol or the like to assuage their angst.

Pluto is in the 5th house of children, love affairs, avocations and creativity...also our ego. Children can be standing up for themselves now and you call it 'attitude'. Listen and hear their truth. They need to come in to their own power....you don't want them living at home at age 40 do you??? Let the baby birds get ready to leave the nest. In love affairs, you can bring in a person now who can be quite powerful; you have to decide if you can let him/her rule your roost or not.

The Yod point, Cancer,is in your 12th house of the unconscious, subconscious. You may feel like not trusting your intuition, calling it all 'bunk'. But listen to your inner voice, to the aspects above, to get your personal answer. Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Virgo:

Neptune is in your 6th house of work, health and animals. You can have some malady that isn't readily evident. Even tho this isn't the obvious expression of this energy, don't rationalize every ache and pain, have them checked out.....and, go beyond an MRI or CAT scan if necessary; they don't always pick everything up. We Virgos tend to be hypochondriacs....which just means we process our emotions thru our body more than others....but this is no time to decide it's all in your mind.

Pluto is in the 4th house of home, family and Mom. Your foundation and roots are sinking deeper into the soil. You may have to do some repairs on your home: repair, remodeling, restructuring, refinance, are all some of the potentialities. You can run up against a strong woman (or your mom) who you have to stand up to and take back your power.

The Yod point, Cancer, is in your11th house of tv, friends, hope and wishes, ambition, career money, dad's money, etc. The 'answer' lies in your ability to make money from your career, or your boss can see things that you can't. Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Libra:

Neptune is in your 5th house of children, love affairs, re-creation, vacations, avocations. You may be seeing children and potential partners with rose colored glasses. When you take off these glasses, you can be surprised at reality. There's also the possibility of alcohol or drugs during this time.

Pluto is in the 3rd house of communication, education, short trips, siblings and the first one after you in particular. There can be power plays with your kids at school; maybe with some petty tyrant who feels superior to children. You gain power thru your command of your language and make a difference with those around you. You could find power struggles in your local community politics or have a set to with your sibling.

The Yod point, Cancer, is in your 10th house of career and father issues. Look to your 10th house and perhaps get some counsel from your father, or the legacy which has come down from him. You might be asked to take some educational courses in order to enhance your career. Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Scorpio:

Neptune is in your 4th house of home, family and mother. It's at the base of the chart. It represents the trunk and roots of the tree. The other houses are the leaves and the branches. This is a powerful place. Neptune in the 4th can make you feel like you're on a rough sea in a little boat....or Mom may feel that way. She and others in the family may, I repeat, may fall off the wagon in some way.....Or, Mom may look for more spirituality in her life.

Pluto is in the 2nd house of money and talents. Not a bad place to be. Those with Pluto in the 2nd natally have the option of being millionaires....yes, you can eschew it...but of course, very few do. Pluto in the second causes you to have a break in your financial affairs, where things aren't up to snuff...but rest assured you will build it back up. Sometimes it's a momentary thing like being on unemployment for awhile.

The Yod point, Cancer, is in your 9th house religion, higher education, travel. It's the house which prepares you for your career in the 10th. Go to college, widen your world thru travel, and in general open yourself up to a wider, broader human being with depth and open mindedness. Be able to speak with confidence on any subject your boss might broach. Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Sagittarius:

Neptune is in your 3rd house of communication, education, local politics, and siblings - the first one after you in particular. You may be able to learn better thru right brain 'pictures' than abstract concepts. There may be clandestine meetings in local politics or on the board of education. Your sibling may have problems with alcohol or drugs at this time.

Pluto is in the 1st house of Self. Also, Dad's Mom, and Mom's dad. These grandparents have a lot of input on your personality and who you are today. You can be dredging up memories of just how this impacted you. You will come into your own power, or be seen as a ego maniac...the choice is up to you. Build your fortune now, because when Pluto goes thru the 2nd house, starting in 2008, you'll have a period of breakdown where you'll have to reassess your financial portfolio...being forewarned can help to mitigate this. Pluto in the 2nd natally, is often one of millionaires.

The Yod point, Cancer, is in your 8th house of inheritances, alimony, 'sex, death and taxes'. You may be in a protracted legal procedure with a sibling regarding an estate; or, since it also relates to mate's money, there can be legal issues in getting your alimony that's due you. Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Capricorn:

Neptune is in your 2nd house of money and talents. Do not speculate on high risk stocks or bonds, or any 'get rich scheme'. You're not as interested in money now, anyway. You? Capricorn? Yes, there's that traditional part that strives for t he pinnacle, but Neptune is making you look at money from the higher perspective, and see that there's more to life than making money and acquiring more than anyone else.

Pluto is in the 12th house of the hidden, the unconscious, subconscious. Powerful memories can come to the fore. You can remember things that have long been buried. Don't be afraid. Your intent is that they will come to the surface safe and easy and in a time frame that can be handled. In time this will be looked back upon as a great liberation and freedom, releasing many physical maladies.

The Yod point, Cancer, is in your 7th house of partners, 2nd child, Mom's mom, and Dad's dad. Your mate may be more closed while you feel you need to be taken care of better than that. These parents can be more aloof, too. The 'answer' is here, but you need to move thru the reticence of these people, and see that maybe they are afraid to look at what you are strong enough to do. Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Aquarius:

Neptune is in your 1st house of self. Neptune opens up the logical Aquarius to look at the other side. One needs the other. Aquarius is left brain, mental, while Neptune (Pisces' planet) is right brained. From the right we get inspiration which Aquarius can use for higher thought and new inventions. Neptune here can alter your ambition, looking at life from a larger perspective, where material things aren't as important.

Pluto is in the 11th house of friends, ambitions, goals, the money of the career, etc. The 11th is also that of adopted children. Children adopted during this period will tend to be a handful. Pluto here can bring you to the attention of masses of people, and your word could be seen as law.

The Yod point, Cancer, is in your 6th house of work. Employers will be irritated if you take too much time off, but you feel you have more important things to do. The 'answer' lies here in your work. Remember, those bills need to be paid so try to balance the two and Saturn will make sure you do it. Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.

For you Pisces:

Neptune is in your 12th house of the hidden, subconscious, unconscious, fantasy and dreams; it is Neptune's own house. You may be able to learn better thru right brain 'pictures' than abstract concepts. There may be clandestine meetings in local politics or on the board of education. Your step father may have problems with alcohol or drugs at this time.

Pluto is in the 10th house of career and father. You have many issues which have come down from father, issues which can make or break you in your ultimate purpose. Look to the things he did right and emulate them - look to the things he did wrong and do the opposite. That'll be a good beginning to turning your life around. Pluto can bring you into prominence now.

The Yod point, Cancer, was in your 5th house of children and love affairs. The focus of the above intensity is visited upon your kids and potential mates. Look to vacations and avocations to take you away from it all, and find meaning in recreation; life isn't just about work....altho that boss in the 10th house may disagree! Now that Saturn has moved into Leo, you can look back and see the events more clearly.
