| Attn: Baby Boomers - For those of you born in the 40Õs, you are currently experiencing a long term aspect that none of the rest of the world is experiencing.
From 1939 to 1957, Pluto went thru Leo. It was a time when we went from the collective to the "I". It's been written that "creative" wasn't in the language til the early 50's in regard to humans. Before that, God created, but humans didn't. Leo is a creative sign and Pluto is evolution and transcendence. This period is also called the "Me generation' -but we were tapping into our selfhood and trying to figure out who we are as individuals. Now, Pluto, in the last 3rd of Sag, has formed a unique aspect to the natal Pluto in Leo. Leo and Sag are fire signs, so they are compatible. The baby boomers have had a good spell as Pluto in Sag trined the Leo sign (positive benefits). Fire signs work well together, (as do earth signs, air signs, water signs, etc., together) They understand each other. So when two fire signs (or the others) aspect each other degree to degree; i.e., 20 degrees of Sag to 20 degrees of Leo, they are 120 degrees apart and it is a positive, productive trine. All you've worked for can come to fruition (my book was published during my trine). Since then, Pluto has moved on, and is now 135 degrees from the natal Pluto. The "sesqui" is currently affecting those born in '41, '42, '43, but it shall move on and affect the rest of the baby boomers as it moves thru. It's about a 5 year build up for a Pluto aspect anyway, so the effects are in motion as we speak. Pluto moves from Sag to 15 degrees of Capricorn, and then Pluto in Virgo people will start experiencing it. Cancerians had the Pluto part of the aspect prior to us. It has recently left Cancer, where they were the ones in recent times who experienced this....but...it is far more telling for Baby Boomers because it taps into the Master Yod that I'm always talking about. An aspect that is 135 degrees apart is called a sesquisquadrate, which I will call 'sesqui' for short. This aspect creates a stress or strain. Some feel it is the hardest aspect with which to resolve an issue. You get a feeling of tension and a need to make changes. Issues come up where you think it's insurmountable and you wish you hadn't have initiated the action you did. It sometimes catches you unaware. You're looking for a practical answer, and can't seem to find it. In astrology, an astrologer can't know everything. We zero in on what interests us; but there are millions of variations out there, so many things, that one couldn't assimilate them in one lifetime. Which is to preface that I hadn't looked at "sesqui"s too much. Ok, it's a minor aspect, we have more important things to look at. However, with this one, it becomes very critical. In the 40's, Neptune and Pluto came into sextile to each other around 1941. Neptune takes about 157 years to go around the zodiac and Pluto takes 246. Orbits aren't cylindrical, they are more oblong, so at times they seem to be going faster. Here we have Pluto going thru a faster phase, keeping up with Neptune, 60 degrees apart, give or take. It's what you've seen me refer to elsewhere as the "Master Yod". When two planets sextile, it creates a power point 150 degrees from each other on the other side of the chart. They call it the "finger of God" aspect because it says "here's the answer (at the power point) for the issues of the sextupled planets, but you have to figure it out yourself." Because Neptune and Pluto have been traveling at the same relative speed, the transiting Neptune in Aquarius is also sesqui'ing itself from it's birthplace in Libra. So, they are both aspecting the Master Yod. Prior signs, Cancer, then Gemini, etc., have experienced this phenomena separately, but never together, as they are now. This is a generational event and applies to all of us as baby boomers, but if it touches one or more of our planets, it becomes personal. So where would it be for you??? Aries: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 11-7. Partnerships have always been nebulous. It's either been hard to attain one, or the person wasn't who you thought s/he was.... or they had addiction problems. Now you look to your friends to help you understand why this has happened. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo, 9-5 (grand trine). Essentially you have a grand trine here, Aries, with Pluto in Sag (fire) and natally Pluto in Leo (fire); those with Aries planets at and around 22 degrees are going to feel the full benefits - Kids, love, avocations in relation to religion and travel. But the trine has moved on and now you're in the sesqui period so that creativity, love affairs, and power in the arts is challenged by someone in a more conservative religion or you are being challenged by professors (or just life) in preparation for Pluto moving into your 10th house of career in a few years where you can be a power in your field. Taurus: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 10-6 The 10th house is your career, while the 6th house is your j o b that pays the bills. You need to do more creative things, and get out of the 9-5....but it may be unclear just what you should do and it might be the wrong time to do it, as Neptune clouds the issue. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo, 8-4. Your home life as a child was no fun and games. There were powerful elements going on surround you and you may have been affected by it. Now Pluto in the 8th causes you to get in touch with your inner self and perhaps open up to your sexuality which had been imploded. Since this sesqui affects both Pluto and your sun sign (see below) you're going thru an intense period of facing the effects of the square (Taurus to Leo) at birth. It's time to resolve it. Gemini: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 9-5 - Like Aries with a grand trine for Pluto and fire signs, you have Neptune in the air signs, which compliments you. It's kind of a renaissance time where you are exposed to culture adventures, like the symphony, opera, art. So some good things are going on for those born around June 1st. Love affairs, kids, vacations, etc., mix well with travel and religion on the grand trine....the stress comes from the sesqui in your first house, which says you may not be looking at things clearly - get another opinion. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo, 7-3 - You're a font of information and trivia anyway, Gem, and it's part and parcel because Pluto started in your third house of communications. You can wield much power thru your written and spoken word. Now you use that in the arena of relationships. You may find yourself standing up to your mate, who is very controlling. Cancer: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 8-4 - Your mom may be ill...or she may be like a snake, slithering out of her no-longer-needed skin and becoming a new person. She also may be getting a new beau if she's looking. The sesqui in Gemini causes you to look to the 12th house and dreams and visualizations for the answers. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo,6-2 - Money was important to you, and it still is. You may have made quite a bit in your time. Now, as Pluto goes thru your 6th house of work, you may see your 9-5 job bringing you more money and prominence than you thought. It's not a time to stand up to your boss for you and your fellow employees. Leo: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 7-3. You want the ideal relationship now, but you may be seeing him/her in a fuzzy light that's not real. You may meet at a school function or community gathering. Don't make any rash decisions until this period is over. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo,5-1. The 40Õs were a rich time for Leos, as you found your creative bent was to be honored and not hidden. You also could have children who were strong or who grew up to be powerful. Now that Pluto is in the 5th house of children and creativity itself, you may become a power in your own right. Virgo: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 6-2. The money you earn from your talents and on the job can be nebulous. A Neptune ruled career, like photography, movies, dancing, shoes, oil, counseling, etc., would express the energy better; but with Neptune, it tends to dissolve whatever house it is in. Pluto sesqui Pluto:Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo,4-12 . The 12th is the house of "hidden enemies" and this usually means your subconscious motivations. It is also the arena of a step father who may have been a bully. Now Pluto is at your nadir; your 4th house, the house of roots and foundation. It's time to delve into your psyche and come to terms with your childhood. Libra: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 5-1. With Neptune in Libra at birth, you tend to be more emotional and dreamy than most other Libs. Now you can pass the positive aspects of this down to your children, or you meet up with a spiritual person....who may not have the money the two of you need to live. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo,3-11. Your father may have had money and lorded it over you. You may have had a sibling one older who was the bully in the family. Now with Pluto in your 3rd, your sibling arena, it's time to come to terms with this individual. Scorpio: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 4-12. This is a potent aspect, because Neptune is currently in your 4th house, dissolving the issues surrounding your roots, and issues with mom, and hidden aspects of yourself, such as hidden enemies, and those subconscious motivations that can make you make wrong decisions. Things may seem clear, but they aren't. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo,2-10. You strove to be a powerful figure in your career; wanting to be heeded far and wide. Now Pluto is in your money house, and while it can indicate big money, there is usually a breakdown period of money troubles before your money-star rises again. Sagittarius: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 3-11. Your friends and siblings can be spiritual people, looking at higher thought and the meaning of life, or they can have alcohol and drug problems. You can be there for them, but don't get pulled down into their quagmire. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo,1-9. You're the power behind the throne, or you may have been bullied or abused by authority figures in the realm of religion or travel. You could be a powerful figure in religion itself. Now, with Pluto in your own sign, Sag, you can have a power struggle with a second mate or 3rd child....your behavior is harkening back to those days of youth...resolve to do it differently this time. Capricorn: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 2-10. You above all signs like stability. Right now, your money and your career are giving you fits. You try to hold on, but it seems like it's slipping thru your fingers. You're being asked to trust more and move into a higher state of consciousness, where money and what it buys aren't so important. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo,12-8. You love money anyway, Cap, because security is a big thing for you. With Pluto natally in the 8th, your husband/wife may have been wealthy or ruled the finances with an iron hand. You may have been in a power struggle over an inheritance. Now you look to your inner demons to get a hold on what transpired and resolve to never have it happen again. Your mantra right now is ÒI am content and fulfilled". Aquarius: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 1-9. Neptune is going thru your sign, Aqu, and you're being asked to tap into your emotions, which are hard for you without water signs in your chart; you tend to be Mr. Spock. Intellect and emotions can't exist in the same moment, so it's a bumpy ride. You may want to travel or become a minister, but be sure it is a true calling.....and you might find that the place where you wish to travel, isn't what is was purported to be. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo, 11-7. You have drawn in very powerful, sometimes abusive, relationships in your life now you look to friends for comfort, eschewing those maddening power-driven types....Aquarians don't want to be told what to do anyway! You may decide that the money you make from your career is more to your liking than a relationship anyday since it doesn't talk back! Pisces: Neptune sesqui Neptune: Transiting Neptune in Aquarius to Natal Neptune in Libra, 12-8. Neptune is your planet, Pisces, and it's in the 12th house which you rule, but Aquarius doesn't take to emotions, so is uncomfortable. You can make more sense out of your dreams and visualizations tho if you let yourself. An inheritance can dissolve out of your hands if you aren't careful. Pluto sesqui Pluto: Transiting Pluto in Sag to Natal Pluto in Leo,10-6. Power struggles at work and in your career abound. You might be in a power grab, or your employer may be trying to dominate his/her employees. You might want to stand up for them, but they just may desert you if you confront your employer, so don't be noble if it won't work out. If the work arena isn't your thing, then you can have power struggles with dad, or you may have problems moving from a job to something that's more fulfilling. For Taurus: If you have your sun sign in Taurus, or any other planet, when Pluto sesqui's itself, the point also sesqui's Taurus. When you look at it, a sesqui is a Yod point of its own. 135 degrees is a square and a half, i.e. 90 degrees of a square and 45 degrees of a half square. It comes up at power point half way between...on the other side. Just like a Yod is 150 degrees apart and is the power point for a sextile - altho I don't think others see it this way - all of a sudden it seemed to me that this was another finger of God point.
