When his half sister, Ann Bird, was on Oprah a few weeks ago, a psychologist talked about Scott's personality. He said he was called "The Golden Child" and could do nothing wrong. The therapist went on to give a chilling account of his makeup. It disturbed me, because my son was born in the year of the Rat, 1972, like Scott, only a couple of months before. He, too, was the special one. He was the one whom everyone loved. He was never called "The Golden Child" but everyone knew that's how we felt. And yet, as his life went along, I got the feeling that he felt like he was a fraud....."one of these days, somebody is going to find out I'm not that great". Because things went so easy and well for these 2 Rats, challenge was not in their makeup; I think they couldn't take or understand anything that would challenge their ability. Saturn was opposing Pluto that year in the sky; authority figures doing an implosion number big time. For my son, who was an electrical engineer, he bid on a job and it went badly from the start. He wasn't used to having everyone thinking of him in anyway but positive. The chickens had come home to roost. Now 'everyone' knew he was a fraud, to his mind, I bet. ...probably more subconsciously than on the surface. We didn't know that he was dying of melanoma until the last couple of months, and while I was doing some hypnotherapy with him, the emotions that came out were, "if my bosses know I have cancer then they'll understand why the job went bad and I didn't do my usual good job". I was just stunned. Then, 3 weeks after my David died on Dec 6 2002, Scott lashed out at Laci. What was going on in his life that 'The Golden Child" found that he too, wasn't having everything going his own way.

The prosecution says they were sure the murder was premeditated. I was surprised at that because of the Mars/Uranus combo detailed below. But, the Scorpio can lay in wait, and get 'revenge' when the timing seems right however long it takes.

The Rat is the animal that's associated with the gall bladder. The emotions the gall bladder relates to are abandonment and betrayal vs. adoration. It's where rage resides; lashing out. The Chinese say 'adoration' is praise from God, not man. I now look back and see that while I thought I was creating a positive foundation for my son to grow, it was not my adoration or the adoratiion of others that would stand him in good stead, but only the adoration of God. Yet, weren't our good feellings for him initiated from above? I'll always wonder.

6/3/04 - Scott Peterson, husband of the late Laci Denise Peterson, was born on October 24, 1972 at 9:36 am PDT in San Diego, Ca.

He was born on the fist day of Scorpio with Mercury there as well, and a Gemini moon. Scorpio is emotional water energy, while Gemini is objective air. The two don't work together well. Someone with this aspect can be perfectly logical, perfectly objective....then something pushes an emotional button, and they are 'gone" temporarily, into their emotional side, which can lash out from jealousy, etc.

The first thing that stands out is that Pluto was at 2 of Libra and over the years, it went over Pallas, Mars, Uranus, Ceres, Sun, Juno, Mercury, and Neptune. This was a sustained period of pressure, Pluto imploding each planet/asteroid as it went along. When Pluto is the trailing planet and then goes over a number of planets afterwards, it shows that the life was extremely hard and fraught with power figures. Pluto went over Mars and then Uranus '76-'78, at 4-6 years old. Mars being assertive/agressive, and the acting out of anger, while Uranus is the inability to stay in a subordinate position. Uranus needs to 'break through', to lash out at times, to provide independence. The two of them together are pretty explosive, and could indicate a hair trigger temper.

Then Pluto went over the Sun in '84, at 12, and some type of power struggle ensued, trying to dim the light of his sun. Around '94 Pluto went over Mercury, showing that either he was manipulated by some strong authority figure, or that was the time he developed this energy in his being. In '96-ish Pluto conjuncted Neptune, which is the other half of the Master Yod, from where Pluto started, some 60 degrees away. In this solar chart, the master yod (Neptune sextile Pluto) at his birth pointed to.....the 7th house of mate. This could have been positive or negative, and it's possibly the latter. The Master Yod points to a key point in one's life. O.J. and Nicole had the transiting Yod on their composite sun when she was murdered. And, it doesn't have to be bad. The Yod pointing at the United States' Venus and Jupiter during the Clinton administration, brought us great prosperity.

Back to Scott. You can see that a lot of planets are connected to the moon. This means that his mother was the pivotal parent. A little less so was his father, who is represented by Saturn. Saturn squares Venus which would possibly show an authority figure challenging his light, his heart place. The Moon opposes Mercury and Neptune, which normally indicates that she would have been a more gentle soul, who shunned confrontation.

They say he is the youngest of 7 children and the only one of Jackie and Lee Peterson. So, where we could chart the siblings around his chart, we'd have to know how many each parent had before their marriage.

There are a zillion good Scorpios in this world, but when something like this happens and you see he is a Scorpio, it raises the possibilities. Mars was the original planet for Scorpio before Pluto took it's place. These are planets of anger, domination, control; and with Pluto going over his Mercury, manipulation with communication. Scorpios are very quiet as a rule; so the fact he was reserved during the early weeks of the disappearance, really has no bearing on whether he is guilty or not. Scorpios can have emotions raging inside, but never show it to the outside world.

During this last year, Scott had his Saturn return; where Saturn returns to the placement at birth. It's a time of frustration if life isn't what he expected it to be by then. It's a time of manifesting what you want before it's too late. Then, with Pluto opposing Saturn in the sky, it intensified the feeling of powerlessness, perhaps and the need to take back his own power. Pluto had moved into the first house of self, which always indicates a power struggle between mates, plus it was nearing the opposition to Saturn, with his own Saturn return, a really heavy duty energy. Would he be the victim of the energy or the 'victor' (prey or predator)? Currently, Uranus, in his 4th house, indicates a melt down in his house of foundation and roots.

1972 was a challenging year. My 30 year old son was born in 72 and he died of melanoma in December. Scott Peterson is accused of murdering his wife and unborn child a few weeks later. Predator and prey. Sometimes the energy acts out as being the victim as with my son, and sometimes it acts out as being the predator. It shows how different planetary positions affect the personality. Wayne Brady was born in June of 72, and he has a new talk show, his wife just gave birth to their baby.....all things that Laci and my David will never experience.

One has to speculate why Laci's case was known around the country, and so many other women are murdered each year, without the glaring eye of the media. Well, #1, it was a 'slow news day'. The period around Christmas just before the war, was not full of news. If it had happened during the war, it probably wouldn't have been noted. The element of being pregnant, of disappearing on Christmas Eve, with her husband going fishing, added an element of a suspicious occurrence right from the start.

If we could get the chart for Modesto, California, we would undoubtedly find that Modesto is in the limelight for some reason. The Gary Condit/Shandra Levy story was nearby Modesto, and a fleeing murderer fled from Pittsburg, California and was shot by police in Modesto.

The prosecution says they might as well try the case there, than trying to get a change of venue, because the case is so well known all over. I noted that Bill Maher, on his HBO show, said something to the effect, "Laci Peterson's body was discovered this week. I've heard of breaking up with someone before Christmas so as not to have to buy a present, but that's....harsh (sic)." The crowd did not respond. He came back with, "oh, I can attack the president, the economy, the war, but don't mess with Laci Peterson." Then over the weekend, CNN had a sentence on it's moving 'ticker' saying "Scott Peterson arrested". Here are two nation wide entities, and neither one had to explain who Laci nor Scott was; indicating that the whole country is aware of the situation. Something Scott, if he is guilty, I'm sure never thought would occur.

The key aspect here, is Mars and Uranus in Libra. Mars being assertive, aggressive energy that wants to be unfettered, and when it is combined with Uranus, finds a kindred spirit, in that Uranus doesn't want to be bound by society and acts suddenly to affect change sometimes violently. When the two of them are together (or close by) in a chart, when another transiting planet ticks it off, it can cause an out of control reaction. Sudden and perhaps, deadly. Since the prosecution is going for the death penalty they must feel it was premeditated. My take from the beginning was that something triggered the Mars/Uranus combo and he lashed out at her, surprised himself by being too strong and killed her. Then he had to cover up what he had done.

From a Chinese perspective, Scott was born in the Year of the Rat, Month of the Sheep, Hour of the Dragon, and minute of the Ox.

The Rat can be just that......a 'rat' in the colloquial sense of the word. He can also do what's right in any given situation without taking into account his own agenda. Rats are often abandoned and betrayed, and here is another placement where the rage in Rats detonates periodically if his childhood made him feel betrayed. The Rat energy connotes rage, where the Ox is anger. Rage is the acting out of anger.

Born in the Month of the Sheep, we come back to the predator/prey aspect. Is he a prey in all this and a victim of all the media, or is he the predator who caused the incident. Sheep need to keep their own counsel, and own up to what they've done, but not to cover for anyone else, or the chickens come home to roost.

Born in the Hour of the Dragon, he wants things. He wants what he wants when he wants it. If Amber is who he wanted, then he'd get her. Dragons, for all their lovability at times, like the conquest but not actually winning the fair damsel. So Laci could have been the one who he had conquered and was of little interest now, and Amber was the new pursuit.

Born in the Minute of the Ox, he was born into a family of relative wealth, and was probably given what he wanted (and with the Dragon, he did WANT things) in order to keep him happy, content, and not get too far from the family. The fact he moved from Southern California to Modesto with Laci, may have made the family antagonistic towards her.

Scott Peterson - guilty or innocent??? Only time will tell.

Update 5/27/03 -In the interim, Mark Geragos has become Scott's attorney. Much like the OJ trial, they're bantering about Satanic cults, and abduction theories, which is a gimmick to start planting 'reasonable doubt'. A month or so ago, I heard on a national news radio program, (which wasn't picked up here in the SF Bay area by the local press) that Scott was not happy having a baby; he had just turned 30 and was not doing well with it; and he hated being a fertilizer salesman (or whatever he sold, I don't recall specifically). If he's the one who did it, and I personally believe he did, I pray this high faluntin'' lawyer doesn't get him off on some technicality. If so, Scott could join OJ and search every golf course around the country for the 'real killer(s)'.
