Simon Cowell, the truculent judge on "American Idol" is nicknamed "Mr. Mean" by the bio on the IMDB. I must admit, I have not watched the show, but I've seen clips and heard of the tension between him and Paula Abdul, another judge.
Cowell was born on October 7, 1959 in London England. He's a Libra! Why would he be so aserbic? Well, it's the fact that the Sun, Mercury and Mars are there together in Libra that creates this misinterpretation.
The Sun, Mars and Mercury are all conjunct. Mercury is communication, of course, and Mars is assertive/agressive-in-your-face energy. Add the individuality of the Sun, and poor ol' Libra doesn't have a chance to make it's energy felt. When Librans aren't being softies, it's usually because they have some Virgo and Scorpio energy in their charts, and Libra being the 'after you' sign', it will give way to the signs on either side. Virgo and Scorpio do have aserbic tongues at times, and Cowell has Pluto in Virgo. 'Nuf said.
Since I don't know the show, or him actually, that's about all I can say about him at this time.
Simon Cowell was born in the Year of the Boar, the Month of the Horse. Boars are often more depressed than people let on. Ridicule and humiliation will decimate them. It seems like Cowell has taken it 'over the top' so the barbs he's been getting about his antics, are above and beyond what would normally affect him. Sometimes Boars will go to the extreme to the other side, and be over effusive and so positive one could puke. But they tend to crash when they are out of the public eye.
Born in the month of the Horse, he does want relationship. But it seems he keeps everyone at arm's length, so perhaps he was hurt once too many times, and now won't allow himself to get that close to anyone. Just my observation.
