June 30, 2003 - On this website we have an astrological breakdown of George W as he campaigned for the presidency. In it I refer to the fact that George W has Mercury conjunct Pluto in Leo in the first house. Recently I read an article in alternet.org giving a perfect example of how this works in his communication. It's fascinating how this article, written by someone, whom I assume is not into astrology, has captured the nature of the aspect. Everyone born around this time has the Mercury conjunct Pluto aspect, but because it's in the first house of Self, it directs the energy to him specifically. It can be tracked back to Mom's Dad or Dad's Mom, one of whom (or both) set up the pattern.
