Daddy George was born on June 12, 1924, at 11:30 am EDT in Milton Mass; he was the 41st president; a Yale graduate....

He has the moon and Saturn relatively close in Libra, showing that his mother was probably pretty strict, and her emotions were in check. This would tend to have him shut down emotionally. The moon squares Pluto, which says that he and mom may not have gotten along that well. He may have always been striving to get her attention and approval...and probably not getting very far.

He does have Venus conjunct Pluto in Cancer, which would say he has a deep, sexual nature that obviously isn't apparent on the surface. There were rumors during his presidency that there was another woman, but when a reporter started to ask Mrs. Bush about it, she was told "don't go there".

His Sun in Gemini and his Moon in Libra are in trine, which says that his individuality and emotions are in harmony (if a bit cerebral) and would indicate his parents were in love and getting along at the time of his birth....and maybe George was in the way because of the square of the Moon to Pluto. Elder Bush's sun in Gemini trines Saturn in Libra, so he probably got along with his father.

It always is more revealing to me, when we overlay the "Time of Day Wheel' of the acupuncture meridians, and look at the emotions contributing to these aspects.

Geo Sr. was born in the year of the Rat, the month of the Tiger, the Hour of the Snake, and the minute of the Tiger. The Rat, as we have talked about with Al Gore (born in 1948) can do what's right for others without thought for himself. So that is probably why, with his monetary situation set, he went out for public office. The Rat, though, deals with betrayal in his lifetime.

The first time I saw him reveal his true nature was when the democrats brought in Anita Hill to challenge Clarence Thomas for the supreme court. It didn't seem like it mattered whether Anita Hill was right or not (she had Pluto conjuncting her Mercury - standing up to a powerful senate committee) he wanted Thomas in and he wouldn't see it any other way.

Now, his first born runs for the presidency, and we saw him 'flare' periodically, when democrats challenged his son. Natural for a father, but shouldn't he know the ins and outs of politics by this time?

The Tiger in his personality likes to be a top cat, is proud of himself and his accomplishments....it's the Snake that stands out here. Being born in the Hour of the Snake, he takes things personally. He needs to be right, hates being wrong, and usually will have the last word. He doesn't like to feel he's wrong. He and Barbara were being interviewed recently, and she obviously said something he didn't like and she saw it out of the corner of her eye and was reported to have said "well, it was a happy marriage".

When we look at the 7th house, where Barbara resides, we see that the Rat energy from his year is deposited in his 7th. This would say that Barbara is a very subjective person; not prone to be objective and take things cooly. It also says that they are probably very subjective about each other. Whereever the Rat energy is in a chart, is where you are in there, tooth and nail, either adoring each other deeply, or feeling betrayed by the other at times, and not being cool and rational about it at any case.

The second child shows up in the 7th house as well, and this is the daughter they lost when George Jr. was small. The Rat energy is abandonment as well as betrayal, so maybe in a sense they felt some abandonment issues over this child's death.

While we're at it, let's look at all the Bush children from daddy George's chart....because you can read anyone in a person's life from their perspective in their chart. .....

The first child always is in the 5th house. It indicates the kids in general and the 1st in particular. In this case, this is George W. The 5th house shows that the Dog/Boar energy is in this house. And quite appropriately, George Jr was born in the year of the Dog. So, while he seems to be the antipathy of Clinton's Dog energy (both were born in 1946), this Dog can be a scallywag, highly sexual like Clinton, or he had can be an uptight moralist, using religion to justify his puritanical, prudish nature. When you see pictures of him at 30, he was quite the handsome guy.....time has moved him to the right it seems. The second half of his life will be spent with Boar energy (the house is split between the two), saying that his life will be either full of hope or full of hopelessness....or somewhere inbetween. Actually, Neptune is in daddy Bush's 5th house right now, finishing up, so that might say the presidency is denied his son, and he goes into despair.

If you use Daddy Bush's 5th house as Geo W's first (this is called turning the wheel) then transitting Pluto is just moving into the 4th for Dad and it would be Jr's 12th.....the power eclipsing?

The daughter they lost, Robin, shows up in the 7th house, which is the same as where wife Barbara, is. This daughter would have mirrored to him his shadow self as Barbara does.

Jeb Bush then, is shows in the 9th house, where Saturn is right now, and has an Ox overlay. Jeb would be the plodder, with Ox energy. He has the potential to reach great heights, but will be plow the field or take off and find his own truth? With Saturn there now, he can be the authoritarian force....it may be up to him whether George W gets what he wants; so he'd better be nice to ol Jeb.

The 11th house is the energy of the 3rd sibling after, and it's also the house of the first sib's mate....In this case, Laura Bush. Neil Bush's energy is here, as well as Laura's. One can see from the relatives, how one will get along with the spouse. The Cat energy overlays here, so it would say both Neil and Laura have insecurities and may be workaholics to prove themselves. This is where Venus/Pluto conjuncts in Daddy Bush's chart, so it would seem these two are pretty powerful....and pretty sexy!

Son Marvin.....there's a son named Marvin???? .... then shows up in George Sr's first house of self....Marvin may be much like his dad. They may like each other because they are so much alike, or they might chafe at seeing their energy mirrored in the other.

And then the baby seems to be Dorothy, and she appears in the elder Bush's 3rd house. This is where the Monkey/Rooster energy overlays. She can be a controller, or she can have a strong religious faith which trusts in something higher...probably one or the other, there's usually no middle ground with Monkey energy. Jeb's wife also shows up in this house and energy, so his wife would have similar energies....there seems to be no wimpy women in this family.

As the 2000 year comes to a close, Pluto has just entered Daddy Bush's fourth house of home, family and foundation. He's moving into a more patriarchial role and finding that he will have a run in with a strong woman...Barbara?

Uranus is in the 6th house of work and service and Neptune will shortly enter. This would say he either needs to move into the computer field in some way, or find a higher calling in his work, with counseling or higher spirituality.

Yet, Jupiter moves through his 10th house of career this year, with Saturn trailing behind and enter the end of April.....and then Saturn opposed Pluto in the sky .....from the 10th to the 4th.....a struggle between the home and career.
