Buddy Hackett, was born on August 31, 1924, in Brooklyn, New York. Now you don't expect a quiet Virgo to be so uninhibited and comedic. It would be interesting to know what his rising sign was. Maybe Leo, as he played the clown in many instances....or he could have had his Virgo sun and moon in the 5th house. But Virgos themselves are going to be reticent and shy. They are usually quiet and modest and don't go out of their way to draw attention to themselves. They say Virgos are "king makers" not the king, since the sign comes right after Leo, in Leo's money house....and Virgo - with Pisces on the opposite side - would just as soon be behind the scenes, working the puppet strings.

The IMDB says he was married in 1955 in one spot, yet the bio says 1945....whichever, he was married to the same woman a loooooooong time!...which is a Virgo thing. They need stability and are afraid of rejection so once they've found 'the woman' who says "yes", in most cases, they aren't about to test that again.

Venus and Pluto are conjunct in Cancer...it's a bit wide by most standards, but I give Pluto a wide aspect. Venus/Pluto people are very intense in their relationships. In the extreme they can be jealous and possessive, but in the best sense, it creates a bond between two people, that might not ordinarily stay together.

The moon and Mercury in Virgo are in conjunction. This is water and air. They don't work well together. Most times he would be very logical, particularly with Mercury, Virgos ruler being the Mercury sign, but other times he could be off on an emotional 'bender' that could last minutes or days.

In the solar chart, Uranus in Pisces is in the 7th house of mate. He almost made it to his Uranus return (84 years) . It would say that he and his wife would have agreed to a 'new generation' relationship, where she had her independence...which is probably why it lasted so long.

Buddy Hackett was born in the Year of the Rat and the month of the Snake. Just as Buddy Ebsen was born in Aries, which is the Rat's western energy in my view (look to my "Chinese Power Animals" book to see my reasoning), can be infant-like, innocent, or angry....and that may be where some of this comic genius comes from. Because he did have a sweet quality about him that transcended the Virgo. He was born in the month of the Snake, which is hard for an entertainer, because they need to be perfect; they can't stand to be wrong. They have to be right, can't be wrong and have to have the last word. They seek approval, but will break ranks and bolt if they suspect someone is 'about to dump them'. ...and sometimes it's too precipitous.
