Not long after Katherine Hepburn's death, Buddy Ebsen left us. He was 95, and she 96. In the 'death comes in 3's" we also lost Buddy Hackett.

Buddy Ebsen was born on April 2, 1908 in Orlando, Florida. He too, has a sun moon conjunction (altho wide) this time in Aries. This gave him a lot of energy and drive...but Saturn sits right behind them at 1 of Aries, so it would tend to sober up those high powered planets in aries, and implode him somewhat. At an early age, Pluto moved on from 22 Gemini to 1 of Cancer, which squared Saturn. This was around 1915, and would indicate some sort of undermining, high powered energy caused him a significant experience which remained with him and changed his concept of life.

In the solar chart, Neptune is in Cancer, and Jupiter has moved on to early Jupiter (see K Hepburn's chart). In this case, it shows that probably his mother had some sort of substance abuse issue, and in those days it was usually alcohol. It also is in the 4th house, the roots and foundation of his chart, so he could have felt his "tree" (roots) could be toppled over at any time.

The planets behind Pluto, his destiny planet, turns out to be Mars (with Venus) in late Taurus. Venus would soften Mars, but it was important for him to be a man, and do manly things...particularly being the ruler of his Aries planets.

CHINESE ASTROLOGY

Ebsen was born in the Year of the Monkey and the Month of the Rat. Ahhhh.... Here we see a man who needed to be in control; who could be in denial over any reality that was not based on his own. The Rat can be very self absorbed or very childlike and sharing.
