Nikki Reed is a recent addition to "The O.C." and has lent a stability that was missing. She's a Capricorn - practical, down to earth, serious and mature beyond her years. She wrote the movie, "Thirteen" (starring Holly Hunter) when she was 13, and it has led to an acting career. At 18 she's one of the youngest on the show, and yet because of that Capricorn maturity she doesn't seem to be......the core cast (Seth, Ryan, etc) being out of the teen years by a few ....

Nikki was born in the Year of the Dragon and the month of the Rooster. While the Dragon is drawn to the limelight, the Rooster is fretting in the background, not sure if everything is ok about all the foll de roll or not. The Dragon likes all the trappings that acting affords....and the Rooster likes the good life, too.....but may think that going to college may be the better way in the long run. She'll have a tug of war between the two.

Chris Carmack was Marissa's boy friend when Ryan came to town, and ultimately broke her heart and then became a good guy. Chris is another who should still be on the show....but he's gone on to "Smallville" and "Related" series, since then, so his O.C. experience helped him along the way.

Chris was born on December 22, 1980 in Washington, D.C. He has a Capricorn sun and Cancer Moon - a dichotomy between practicality and sensitivity. The Sun and Mercury conjunct Neptune, so he'd be naturally drawn to acting (Neptune ruling acting, behind the scenes, modeling, glamour, makeup, etc.). Mercury nearby Neptune suggests that he doesn't like confrontation. Venus and Uranus conjunct lending an air of spice to romantic affairs, and perhaps a desire not to settle down too early. Jupiter and Saturn are together in Libra, so there are times when he is expansive (Jupiter) and other times when he pulls back (Saturn) and no one is quite sure when it will happen.

Currently, Pluto is conjuncting Mercury, so there is someone in his life that can be manipulating him thru words. He needs to watch out for hidden agendas. But, by November, Uranus will trine the moon (or thereabouts, since we don't know the time he was born) and something can happen good for his mom, his emotions or women in general....maybe there will be a new emotional interest in his life. By 2008, Pluto will move into conjunct his Sun in Capricorn, and it will test him, but also bring him his empowerment.

Chris was born in the Year of the .....Monkey......of course! Yet, it's towards the end of the year, so he's shape shifting into the next sign, the Rooster. It's like he's almost a Rooster, with a little bit of Monkey characteristics left. So, the Monkey's need for control has some doubt behind it. He was born in the month of the Rooster, so he has more conflicts with fear than he'd like, and can have issues with his kidneys or bones.

Taylor Handley was the neurotic villain, "Oliver" in the first season, who menaced Marissa. He was really good in the role, and currently can be seen in a "Cold Case" this year, "One Night",, as well as the movies, "September Dawn", "The Standard" and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning".

Taylor was born June 1, 1984 in Santa Barbara, California. He has a Gemini sun and Cancer moon. Venus conjuncts the Sun, giving him an extra quality of magnetism and attractiveness. Mercury inconjuncts Uranus, so he has a quick, facile mind. Saturn conjunct Mars may suggest his father was in the military, or in some way was a spit and polish person.

Currently, Uranus is doing a number in his chart, and those born in and around 1984. Lots of changes going on that may or may not be easy. It's best to embrace the change and go with it, 'cause it's gonna happen, regardless. Uranus is squaring Venus, and squaring its own natal position ias well as trining Mars and sesqu'ing Pluto and sextling Jupiter...as the year goes along it will also trine Saturn.
