(8/07 - I'm starting to wonder if this is Nancy's real birthdate. Her stars are so good here, it would seem nothing could touch her, and yet, she's flamed out to the background, as if something or someone got to her on some level).

Nancy Pelosi, 2 steps from the presidency. This Aries lady, born March 26, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland, has a Scorpio moon; certainly no one to be trifled with! I was listening to a discussion about her this morning, and they said she can be quite confrontational; I wouldn't be surprised. If anyone knows her time of birth, please email me. I'm sure it will be revealed at some point.

From a solar point of view, her Aries sun at birth, is closing in on Jupiter, both in Aries. Jupiter ruling politics, that would be an apt placement. It's surprising tho, that she's such a tiny woman, having given birth to 5 children to begin with, but then with Jupiter so close, that can mean 'expansion' on many levels, including girth.

Pluto was just entering Leo at her birth, and Mars, the ruler of Aries, is the first major planet behind it. To me, that's the "destiny planet", and ruling Aries, certainly talks about being first, taking risks and being fit for the fight...any fight.

The only aspect Saturn makes is to square Pluto, and that is quite enough. Geo W has Saturn conjuncting Pluto, and with Nancy's square, she can stand up to him toe to toe. Saturn/Pluto people take no quarter.

While I would normally say that Arians, like Donald Rumsfeld, ruled by Mars - God of War, are martial, and inclined to blood and guts, this Arian, with Jupiter there, seems to take it to a higher plane. Someone who is a mother, is going to undestand the anguish of mothers and fathers who have lost a child waaaaaay tooooooo early. When a soldier dies, a chunk of their parent dies, too. In grief counseling a teacher said that we expect on some level to lose parents at some point, and we even can speculate losing a mate, and marrying again, but no one ever expects to lose a child, and a mother will mourn her child all her life.

There hasn't been any mention of it so far, but as I recall, living in Northern California all my life, is that the Pelosis lost a child in a fire early on. That's just my recollection, and I could be wrong, but if so, she knows about losing a child.

Venus conjuncts Mars and Uranus in Taurus. Saturn is there too, showing fiscal responsibility, but Venus and Uranus together in the solar 2nd would indicate that she's lucky in the money arena, and we know that her husband is wealthy. On a solar chart-level, most of her planets are on the left side of the chart, which is the masculine side, the "act-or" who goes out and initiates and does, and risks, and mops up the results later, rather than those with planets mostly on the right side, which is the femminine, the "re-act-ors" who wait to see what the Actors do and react accordingly.

Currently, Pluto in Sag in her solar 9th house, has created a grand trine from her Sun/Jupiter in Aries to Pluto in Leo. It's no wonder that her star has been on the rise in the past 12 years. The 9th is the preparatory house for the career - get the education you need on every level to be prepared for the thrust into that which you are here to accomplish. At the end of 2007, Jupiter will move in to conjunct Pluto on the cusp of her 10th house. Jupiter ruling politics, and bringing luck to power (Pluto) - one can only guess what's in store for her.

The Master Yod point of Neptune sextile Pluto (even tho it's a bit wide now - Pluto at 27 Sag, and Neptune at 18 Aqu) is pointing at the end of Cancer, between Pallas (logical, linear thinking) and Pluto - power. As the Yod moves along, it's beginning to point at the Pluto placement for everyone born in the late 30's and pulling in to those born in the early 40's. It's going to be a wild time as Gray Power becomes more than just a symbol. The first solar eclipses of the year have been in Aries in the past two years (2005-2006), bringing them to the front burner; some for good, as in Nancy Pelosi, and some not so good, like for Tom DeLay.

In late December, Jupiter trined her Sun nicely, setting the stage for this new venture. On Jan 25, 2007, Uranus will trine her moon, which will undoubtedly aid her ascent. On Feb 21st, Uranus will create a grand trine, linking Chiron. Since Chiron is in Cancer in her solar 4th house, it could see her resolving wounds from the past. On March 1, 2007, Jupiter trines natal Jupiter, and that can't be bad - just don't eat that extra desert, Nancy!. As Jupiter finishes up in Leo, it will trine her Jupiter as it goes direct on April 19th....authority and luck combined.....restriction and expansion operating well together.

Uranus conjuncts Mercury in Pisces this year, and this is usually a time when new ideas just pop into one's head, one right after another. It was during this time for me that my new concepts of the Chinese astrology system were linked to the meridian system of the body. Mercury is communication and thought, and Uranus is higher communication, and sudden, unpredictable thought processes, so that (with the Yod on her Pallas to boot) she'll be seeing patterns and seeing how things go together, and seeing new, uncharted ways of doing things that will be beneficial to all.

Saturn is trining itself, Jupiter is trining itself, Uranus is trining Chiron on Nov. 24th as it goes direct. Uranus in connection to Chiron quite frequently brings knowledge to wounding patterns of the past.

Jupiter will conjunct her solar midheaven and go into the 10th at the beginning of 2008. Pluto trines her Saturn in April of 2008, Jupiter trines her Uranus/Venus/Mars in 2008. Is there nothing stressful for her? Nothing obvious. Pluto conjuncts her midheaven on Apr 4 of 2009, but Jupiter there already by that time, could see her pulling that power in with it.

It is generally well known that Arians pioneer, risk, and lead the way. Aries Geraldine Ferraro was the first woman vice presidential nominee, and now Nancy Pelosi is the first Speaker of the House. Pluto is now on the cusp of her 10th house of career, and the pinnacle of her chart. With the history that no president elected in a "0" year has lived out the presidency (except Reagan, and that was close; only modern medicine kept him alive) and the fact that there is only two years left in this presidency, I'm wondering if the Universe is setting the participants in place, and something will happen that will thrust Nancy Pelosi into the presidency???? Hillary Clinton has no Aries in her chart. She does have Mars as the planet behind Pluto too, which would have an Aries connection. But would that be enough to pull the presidency in for her? I'm not so sure.

Nancy Pelosi is 66. Born in 1940, the sesquiquadrates of Neptune to itself and Pluto to itself, causing a collapse of power is past for her. Whatever happened a few years back for her, obviously was not in her career area. It will be in effect for Hillary tho in 2008-2009, and is building up to that. It will be hard for anyone born in the middle-late '40's to pull this presidency out of the hat.

Chinese Astrology: Nancy Pelosi was born in the Year of The Dragon, which attracts her to the spotlight; this is no shrinking violet in any placement. She needs to have and accumulate, and fortunately, she has the husband to provide it. She was born in the month of the Rat under my system, which links the animals to the meridians, and while the Rat can strike out, the evolved ones can be altruistic and do what is right without thought for herself. The unevolved ones think only of self. The Ox energy is in her 10th house of the Chinese overlay, which could indicate that her father was indulgent and gave her everything that she wanted....the 10th represents father and the career, one could speculate that the career energy will provide what she wants, too.

I've been working on an astrological system of our Presidents, in reference to the U.S. chart. The next president will be ruled by the Ox, as were the presidencies of Gerald Ford and FDR. With Uranus being in that 'house', something unpredictable is bound to happen.
