We had a solar eclipse in February (2008) and I said in the horoscopes for the year that Aquarians would be on the 'front burner'. I was thinking that Dick Cheney might get his come uppance...and he sort of is....but the Aquarian to come to the fore is none other than Scott McClellan, former press secretary to "W" and author of the new book, debuting on June 2nd, "What Happened"....maybe it should be titled, "What Really Happened".

Scott is a Valentine baby, born February 14, 1968 in Austin, Texas. Born in the sign of Aquarius, he is a person who is open and forthright. Most Aquarians will share their personal story if it can help others. Bush, born in 1947 in the year Saturn and Pluto conjuncted in Leo, has a Scorpionic attitude and wants to be secretive and in control.

So, for Scott to be the spokesperson for this administration, it put the Aquarian between a rock and a hard place. The critics, who are trying to put him down, and send a message to anyone else who would be so bold, said "This just doesn't sounds like Scott" and when they play the sound bites of things he said during his tenure, it's clear that he's uncomfortable in stating what was told him. I'm sure a body and speech language expert would bear that out.

In his solar chart, Pluto has just moved into his 11th house - the Aquarian house - by birth and by transit this indicates that a person has a profound effect and can sway the masses. Coming at this time in his life and the administration, it's a good bet it will have that effect.

Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, and the ruler of publishing, met up with Pluto in Dec of 2007, and has sped on its way, blazing a path for Pluto to follow. So, while it doesn't indicate publishing for everyone - it does portend that Capricorns will have an easier entrance into Cap and Jupiter will see that its ever present power will flow more beneficiently. For Scott, it's in his 12th house of "hidden enemies"... it's also behind the scenes, so may indicate the book, for surely it is the publication of things 'behind the scenes' at the White House.

Scott's moon is in Leo, and his Venus is in Capricorn.....just where transiting Jupiter is when the book debuted. So, he has a serious side; a Saturnian side that wants some structure and form and so he may have been drawn to the administration from his Venus position, but the ol' Aquarian sun, ruled by Uranus, which chafes at the abuse of power, couldn't be contained. That Leo moon is royalty, and they like to rule just as Caps do, but with two planets in Aquarius and Mars and Chiron in Pisces, the need to break free of restrictions finally won out.

He was born when Uranus and Pluto had just conjuncted in the sky in 1966, which was the emergence of the hippie generation and gave power to the eclectic, new age world of Uranus. The two are moving in to a square position in 2012, the first major aspect they've done since '66, so this may be the beginning of challenging the establishment once again. Uranus doesn't like being squelched in anyway. But, they can't say 'don't trust anyone over 30' this time tho, because 30 is the new 20, so we have to move the establishment and those in power up a decade or two.

Jupiter is the planet behind Pluto, which to me is the 'destiny planet', and Jupiter rules politics and publishing, so Scott is in the right spot for his place in history.

The Bush administration has many corollaries to Nixon's. And while it's been said press secretary Ron Ziegler had a lot to say after leaving office, I'm more of a mind that Scott may be playing the role that John Dean did. In fact, on Keith Olbermann's show, when Scott gave his first cable news interview, Keith checked in with Dean at the end to offer Scott some solace and expectations of what is to come, as those in power seek to ridicule him.....'why didn't he ever voice these concerns at the time?" they ask incredulously........have you ever been in a subservient position and knew what would happen if you raised an opposite view? He had to get the book written and published before speaking out.

Currently, Uranus is in his solar first house, near Mars, and those two can detonate when they are in proximity and direct. And the book certainly was an 'explosion' on the scene. Jupiter is retrograde at 21 of Cap and Venus is at 23,, in the 11th house, so luck and protection are his. The fact that Pluto has just entered the 11th, and Jupiter is at the end gives a rather 'cushioned' effect to the area of communication on a wider, deeper, more profound level.

Neptune hovers around his sun, and that's probably indicative of the 'leaks' that let the contents of the book out early.

In April, 2008, as Pluto went retrograde, it trined his Jupiter, and on May 9th, as Jupiter went retrograde, it trined his Pluto.....not exactly a mutual reception, since they aren't in each other's signs, but certainly enhancing each other, and touching off his personal power (Pluto) and destiny planet (Jupiter), that enhanced the publication of the book. on May 3rd, Saturn conjuncted Jupiter, which would be sobering, but since Saturn is in trine to Pluto in the sky right now, working together instead of at odds, it seems to have brought into reality the publication of the 'words in his head'....Saturn, while we decry it's toughness, does bring ideas into reality on the printed page.

On June 27th, Uranus will oppose Scott's Pluto as it goes retrograde, so it has gone half way around his chart, and is now looking at Pluto from the other side, snubbing his nose at the power monger! Also on June 27th, Uranus sextiles his Venus, bringing sudden luck into the mix, with Jupiter and Uranus sextiling in the sky. On June 20th, Scott will/is speaking before Congress to tell what he knows. It looks like he has good transits on his side.

September 2008 looks a little dicey, as Pluto is in a T square to Mars on one side and Uranus on the other as it goes direct. But it also trines his moon, The year ends with Jupiter doing a lot of nice aspects and Pluto trines Jupiter again.

2009 starts with Saturn conjuncting his Pluto tho, so that could be a sobering time. Saturn is doing this to all who were born around this time, but then in 2009 Jupiter goes into his first house in May bringing luck and expansion and conjuncts his sun...maybe there's a second book in the near future, and Pluto is still trining Jupiter so while this is obviously going to be a very soul's growth and evolutionary time for him, boldly speaking truth to power, we look to John Dean for a clue to his future, for Dean has evolved in to a very insightful, charasmatic, scholarly man.
