Kenneth Lay, the CEO of Enron, died July 5th, within a short time of being sentenced to jail for the corruption in his company. The internet is rife with conjecture that maybe it was staged and he was whisked away to a location to live out his life; others say that if it's true, we were denied justice and he ultimately won.
Looking at his chart, I would say his death is probably true. Lay was born in the Year of the Horse, and the Horse is the archetypal energy which represents the heart. But thousands of people are born every 12 years in the Year of the Horse, and while they need to keep their hearts healthy, they can also express the metaphors of "strong as a horse", "healthy as a horse" etc. The paramount thing here is that being a Horse and having a heart attack, falls together when we also add, that as an Aries, his ruling planet Mars was the last planet touched by the Master YOD (Neptune sextile Pluto) power point, so it's been bouncing off that strident, sometimes angry, energy for some time. The correlating Chinese animal for Aries is the Rat, which rules the gall bladder, which triggers rage at abandonment and betrayal.....and we all know that rage is not good for the ol' ticker.
During the previous month before his death, Mars conjuncted Saturn (chomping at the bit, being held back by authority) in the sky, and in his chart, they had recently conjuncted Pluto (major stress) and conjuncted Chiron at the conjunction.....major wounding......and, with the Chinese overlay, natal Pluto/Chiron was in the Heart area by birth. So, many other factors have to be involved for this to happen. The loss of power, for a man who has been used to wielding power at the highest levels (Pluto) and then losing it all(Neptune) can be devestating as he tried to force his will over people and it disintegrated before his eyes.
On top of that, Pluto in Sag was moving to oppose natal Mars. So Mars was being hit like a pin ball machine, being hit by stress, anger and power at every angle....and Mars is his ruling planet having both the sun and Moon there (well, at least his parents were getting along at his birth! since the two conjunct).....and we must remember that those born in 1942, had Pluto and Neptune sesquiquadrating the natal positions of the Pluto/Neptune in 2004.....which was about the time that the Enron thing fell apart. This is a powerful manifestation of how the power (Pluto sesqui'ing natal Pluto), which he thought was invincible, can disappear as Neptune moves in to sesqui Natal Neptune.....and how it is going to continue down the road of prominent politicians and business execs as it moves thru the natal points of Pluto in Leo and Neptune in Libra of the 1940s and into the 1950's placements in the next few years. .....I wouldn't bet on any of them to get the next presidency. Aaron Spelling was born on April 22, 1923, in Dallas, Texas. Born on the 22nd of any month is special in itself, as it is a high vibratory number which is not reduced (2+2=4) in numerology. Spelling was born with a Taurus Sun, Cancer Moon, with Pluto closeby. This normally indicates a very dominating mother. While this may or not be the case with him, to me it would say that since the moon in the 3rd house indicates a writer with an innate sense of emotion, the Pluto influence would have given him the ability to delve deep within to find the stories that would appeal to the populace, since the moon not only relates to emotions, women, and mothers in general, but to the people of a country as well. In the area of career money (the 11th), he has Uranus, for sudden change, and Venus is nearby. While it's not an exact aspect, Uranus went over Venus early in life, triggering the wealth to come. The fact that it is part of a grand trine to Moon/Pluto in Cancer, and Jupiter in Scorpio, all in water, would indicate a deep contact to emotional depths which motivate people. Mercury squares Neptune, so that his forte would be fiction.
Taurus loves wealth and all that it provides; it is said that he had the biggest house in the Holmby Hills, a wealthy section of Los Angeles. From meager beginnings, Aaron Spelling became a man of great wealth and reputation, and provided highly evocative entertainment for many decades.
Spelling had a stroke a few days before his death. At 83, he was moving in on his Uranus return and Uranus was inconjuncting Saturn and Neptune and trining Jupiter. Saturn had moved into Leo and was in the Heart section of his chart when we put the Chinese Overlay on it. The heart meridian affects the brain (stroke) as well as the heart itself. In the sky on the 17th, Saturn met up with Mars, in Leo, in the Heart section; whether he was upset with someone at the time is only conjecture.
