From Astro.com there seems to be a number of speculative birth times for Michael Jackson. A chart I did a number of years ago, when he was going thru his court cases, was 12:14 pm cst. Other times are 11:45 pm CDT, 7:54 Am CDT, 3:00 am, 1:30 am, 12.09 pm, Lois Rodden spec-recitifies to 8:14 am CDT, 11:53 pm. A Basel Fearrington said that Michael told him, "I will tell you as I told Jackie Onassis, all I know is that it was late in the evening, definitely after 10:30pm".

The problem is, if you have a Pisces moon, which he will no matter what the hour, and perhaps a Scorpio rising, intrigue and mystery and keeping things secret comes with the territory. When you don't have the Chinese astrology chart, you can make speculations that he had Gemini rising because of his Peter Pan complex, or Aquarius Rising because of his connection to the world. But, when the Chinese astrology chart is placed over it, those issues are found elsewhere. Whatever the true time, I would say it is sometime around 11:00 am-12:30 pm. This gives him Scorpio rising, and shows in the diochotomy between the Pisces moon sweetness and imagination and creativity, and the Scorpio sexuality on the screen.

Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary Indiana, we know that. He has a Virgo sun and a Pisces moon, which shows his parents weren't getting along that well at this birth, and gives him a push-pull between his professional and priate persona. If we go with a 1:00 pm CDT time, as this chart shows, the moon is in the 4th house at the base of chart, opposing the Virgo planets, but showing how his mother was the foundation of his life.

The Virgo search for perfection is accompanied by 3 planets in Leo, Mercury, Venus and Uranus, with the asteroid Pallas there too. Pallas and Mercury shows the ability to see new patterns in every day things and bringing them together for something new. Venus in Leo is his true identity; Venus being the person's planet in the chart. The Sun is the individuality and reflects on the father; the moon is emotions and relates to the mother; Mercury is communication and relates to siblings.....where Venus is the native in the chart. We can be a combination of sun and moon and rising, but our heart reflects in the Venus placement. Where Virgo might be shy and reticent, which Michael certainly was....the Leo in him loved the limelight, loved to perform and with Uranus close to Venus, loved to be an individual, which is why there might be the feeling of Aquarius rising.

The Sun conjuncts Pluto, usually indicative of a childhood that was fraught with intensity, power, domination and control. Very early in his young life, Pluto moved over the sun, opposed the moon and Saturn inconjuncted from the side. Saturn is at the end of the first house in this chart. Lots of discipline, control, domination. For a sensitive Virgo with Pisces moon, it may have been too much, as the other brothers don't seem to have the scars that he does.

I look at the first house as the life span of the person. Here we have Scorpio rising, with mostly Sag in the first house and Saturn almost at the 2nd house. The planet behind the ascendant is Neptune, so the ascendant was 'bouncing off' the Neptune energy most of his life, hilighting the Leo energy and bringing the musician and dancing to the forefront. If this chart is somewhat accurate, then Saturn started to take its effect as the end of his life came, moving from that fantasy and fairy tale, to stark reality, and the harshness of Saturn would be hard to accept when you've lived a life of fantasy from Neptune.

Venus and Uranus conjunct in Leo. Venus and Uranus together runs the spectrum from womanizer on one end, to gay on the other, and every level inbetween, but mostly goes to one side or the other. Certainly says he was lucky, with opportunities opening for him unexpectedly. But it did bring that Uranus/Aquarius energy into the mix...that desire to be different from the norm.

Then we have in contrast, the Sun conjunct Pluto, so that the problems of his youth hardened him in many ways, gave him the side of his personality that was canny and a good businessman....when Neptune didn't get in there to blur the effect.

When we look at the Chinese overlay, he was born in the Year of the Dog, the month of the Snake (in relation to the 5 element system), the Hour of the Horse, the minute of the Rat. Let's take out the minute, as we're not even sure this is correct.

But, he was born in the Year of the Dog and the month of the Snake, and I would say, the hours of the Horse.

Born in the Year of the Dog, there are intimacy issues and inhibition around sex. The Dog is the archetypal animal for the Circulation Sex meridian in the acupuncture 5 element system, also attributed to the Pericardium, the sac that protects the heart from physical blows. As an archetypal icon it also protects from emotional blows. Somehow, people think we have to be heterosexual, and if not, then we're gay. There is also asexual, or a fear of intimacy, fear of the power of surrender around sex. For a boy with Sun conjunct Pluto, who knew all about power and being the victim of it, sex can be separated from love, for sex is often used as a powerful tool. But the Dog person often has a 'clinker' at a young age....a discordant note where they lose their childhood forever. From then on, they are always looking for the wrong note in the symphony, always wondering when the other shoe is going to drop.

I may be naive, but I don't think Michael was a pedophile. I don't think the people that back him....Brooke Shields, Oprah, Elizabeth Taylor, etc., would continue their connection with him if they believed that. Carrie Fisher said in her blog she didn't believe it, as did others in recent days. The person born in the Year or hours of the Dog, usually lose their innocence early, have to grow up suddenly, and for Michael, with the aspects he has in his chart on top of it, I think he was trying to find that innocence again, find what he missed. Try to understand what it is like to be a kid......would that not be what Neverland was all about?

Born in the Hours of the Horse, the organ of the body that it 'rules' is the heart. So the Horse energy wants to love and be loved, the Dog energy doesn't want the Horse to get hurt, so scares people away and the Leo energy loves kids. Then, if one of these noon time charts is accurate, then the first house is split between the Horse and the Sheep; it moves from heart issues, to challenges....and with Saturn there takes him from the joy of Neptune and the unreality and fantasy to having to look at life with all its warts. I always need to say that people born in the year of the Horse or the hours of the Horse don't need to fear. Just lead your life to keep your heart healthy. If Michael hadn't had the Virgo hypochondria and need for drugs, he might still be alive today.

Currently, he had just moved thru his Chiron return, and the intensity of Jupiter conjunct Neptune conjunct Chiron in the area of his Kidneys is mighty strong right now. All that activity, all those drugs, it seems, all that expenditure of energy....most of us don't overdo like that. Saturn was also squaring his Saturn bringing stress to his intestines. But, fortunately, or unfortunately as it turns out, Pluto was moving in to trine his natal Pluto, which would have reaped the rewards of a life so far...and his final concert tour would probably have been a tremendous success.
