The High Priestess

The MagicianIn all of Creation and Nature there are (3) Divine principles that constitute ALL that exits now, has ever existed before and may possibly exist in the future. These (3) Universal Truths are all wrapped-up in the Cosmic Principle of Divine Perfection that is contained within the simple numeric sequence of (1), (2) and (3). The beginning, the middle and the end. In other words, the Thought (1), given Form (2), and then being born as "Creation" (3), the resulting union of (1) and (2). This principle of 3's moves and dances through everything in life, since life situations always manifest in 3's. It takes a father (1) the masculine principle, and a mother (2) the feminine principle, to produce a child (3)… the birth principle. Just as we need a Architect/Designer (1), supplying the conceptual ideas/blueprints to the Workmen Craftsmen (2), to produce/construct the form or house which the Painters, Landscapers and Interior Designers (3), then give final creative flair, color, animation and style.

And so it is with the first (3) cards of the Tarot deck, THE MAGICIAN (1) is your Self-Conscious Mind which creates, designs and transmits its ideas or conceptual directives to your Subjective Subconscious Mind THE HIGH PRIESTESS (2). She then goes to work producing and supplying the productive means and resources necessary for the Intellectual Subconscious Mind THE EMPRESS (3) to produce and give birth to the final material form or reality first conceived by THE MAGICIAN. So you can see from the above that the role of the HIGH PRIESTESS is probably the most powerful and significant in the entire creative process. She is the sole agent of the Universal Mind here on Earth. She is the Divine repository and guardian of all the secret processes of creation and of your own personal cosmic memory bank. She retains not only a full remembrance of all of your past lives and activities, but those of the Earth, our Solar System, the Universe and all Master Universes within the Creator's Garden. She monitors and guides your body's Trillion plus cell population, energizing, rebuilding and maintaining all processes pertinent to their survival, as well as the entire interplay and maintenance of all bodily organs and balance of your personal psychology. She is the most vital element and connection you have with God... without her you would not exist. She regards you as her own and will always be near to sustain and nurture you.

Carl Jung was deeply impressed by the role of the High Priestess as mirrored in the operations and functional processes of our bodies. He relates that the Ancient Wisdom wants us to strive to transform our Divine Machine (the body) by supplying it more positive thought and emotional direction. He explained that for centuries, our intellectual thought (The Magician) has been feeding our body (the Intellectual Subconscious Mind) tainted and reactive misdirection... ideas that aren't always in keeping with the blueprints of Divine perfection. As a result, we have produced a subconscious bodily memory matrix that perpetuates bad habits, urges and excessive passions. These personal misdirectives have produced toxins that are then carried forward (into each of our incarnations) as replanted and faulty patterns... thus laying the groundwork for a continuance of imperfect health and emotion.

According to Jung, our human talent or ability to mentally/materially create (known as creative visualization) is the empowering tool that allows The Magician (Intellectual Self-conscious) to send our images, desires and directives out into the Universe to produce the fruits of our personal thoughts and will. These thoughts or directives must, however, follow a prescribed and very specific pathway through the High Priestess (your Pineal Gland) who will communicate their blueprint to the Empress (your bodily cells and Autonomic Nervous System). The Empress in turn will transmit/impress the Universal Mind or Etheric Cosmos with these directives that will ultimately return to us in the form of 3rd dimensional realities or events. The trick is to send out transformed emotionally and spiritually attuned desires, since the Universe will always replicate and send back the sort of reality signals it receives.

Jung stressed that the teaching of the Tarot and the esoteric lessons of Scriptural narrative each urge us to monitor and refine our self-conscious thoughts and messages. Through meditation and the induction of higher spiritual guidance we will begin to attune our desires to those of our Higher Self... this will enable us to provide the body a more articulate and higher vibrational database which it can use to transmute our accumulated imperfections. Jung was very illustrative in his teachings and very graphic when he explained that the Ancients wanted us to know that The High Priestess represents our Pituitary Gland. Within this gland he says dwells our Higher Self or earthly representative of the Spirit. The Pituitary is considered to be "The Gate of the Sanctuary". She is the organ of communication between the thinking cells of the brain (Magician/self-conscious) and the body (Empress/personal subconscious). This is why it is so vital for us to manage our emotions and thought and not allow negative moods to control your choices in life. By taking control of our lives and engineering positive thoughts and intention, we begin to remake our "selves". The High Priestess will always relay your messages to the body (just as we send them) to use in its production processes, so we must endeavor to keep them upbeat and spiritually energized. There is, within our subconscious mind, an all-knowing power which, if we allow her, will keep us in balanced and perfect poise. Always try to stay mindful of this goal.
